    Default Peach Fronted Conure Talking

I've not heard a peach front talk. Mine does not but this one can talk very well.

I was very amazed by this bird. It shows that she spends lots of time with her.

How old is Nino? Peaches, my peach front is roughly 20 years old. He's never said a word but I never got him until he was about 16 years old. He hasn't picked up anything at all that I've talked to him about or the others have said. He isn't noisy either. Only the odd warning call.

i don't know how old nino is - i adopted him from the gabriel foundation, and there was no history about him... he is an extremely shy bird who is slowly coming out of his shell now (yeah for progress). he can produce quite some noise, especially when supported by his buddy / enemy valo... but overall he's pretty good.
i don't really teach the boys to talk - valo's picked up some stuff nevertheless... nino? not a word... and i'm not expecting him to - valo tries to interact with me and impress me; nino has just gotten over the phase that he thinks i'm the devil, and shows interest now and then... i'm not holding my breath to hear him talk LOL

Awww sounds like Peaches. He came from a rehome situation too. The previous owners didn't do much with him either. I don't necessarily teach mine to talk either, they choose to pick up what they want to say. I just talk to them all the time.

Peaches took nine months to even come out of his cage when I first got him. He definitely does not like hands on at all and you'll soon find out if you get too close. LOL

I know, I love the "squirrel" too. I watched this again this morning. I am so amazed at how much this little one talks.
